Liaison for school board members, administrators and staff regarding human resources matters. Consult with administrators and staff on sensitive personnel and organizational issues. Maintain, interpret and apply negotiated agreements and counsel administrators and staff on various practices and provisions of agreements; serve on negotiation teams in an advisory role. Develop and maintain district human resources employee handbook, job descriptions, policies and practices. Review and implement applicable employment laws and regulations; monitors district compliance. Serve as District Affirmative Action Officer. Administer long term leave of absences to include Federal and State mandated leave programs. Supervisor Human Resources Representative. Oversite of human resources onboarding orientation, benefits and compliance and employee training. Complete required annual human resources reports. Track required annual BBP training. Track superintendent approved exceptions. Serves on the health leadership, safety, PEPG and certification committees. Issue individual employment contracts/agreements for administrators and teachers. Maintain Department of Education staff database via NEO. Substitute process and maintenance of Automated sub calling system. Coordinate employee required DOE certifications, authorizations, CHRC. Conduct criminal history background checks for the District Volunteer program. Additional responsibilities as determined. Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources. Five (5) years or more of human resources experience. Knowledge of human resources laws, regulations, principles and practices. Demonstrated ability to provide effective leadership across the District. Strong interpersonal and written communication skills. Proven ability to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple activities. Computer proficiency in MS Office and payroll and/or human resources software
