Your tasks and responsibilitiesThe primary responsibilities of this role, Lead Budget Support Specialist, are to:Enable accurate reporting of outsourced cost informationContribute to provisioning of cost information at functional levelManage monthly estimates, liability, payments and invoice review for each vendor/partner used per Legal EntityGenerate and provide overview reports, forecasting future spendingLiaise with internal and external partners to accurately communicate contract statuses and issues (eFilia, CLMS, external partners, CROs)Supports the development of requests for proposals and contracts; maintain the electronic library of contractsManage invoice routing and recording Who you are Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE values. More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: Required Qualifications: Associate s or Bachelor s degree or equivalent (ie, Commercial Training degree) with a minimum of 6 years of pharmaceutical industry experience supporting budgets and/or finances for multiple groups.Experience supporting resourcing, outsourcing and interacting with multiple vendors is a plus. Experience working in a global organization and/or global project teamsWorking across and building effective working relationships between functionsUnderstanding the management of outsourced study activities and the management of collaborations with CROs and service providers.Knowledge of fundamentals in proposal and vendor selection processes as well as contracting and contract managementAccounting and controlling knowledgeUnderstanding of Resource Management activities Technical Knowledge/expertise requiredKnowledge of the drug development processUnderstanding of global regulations and guidelinesGood handling with IT systems and website tools/systems as well as strong ability to adapt to new IT systems and processesGood knowledge of Sharepoint and other Microsoft productsStrong written and oral communication skills in EnglishStrong organizational skillsIn addition, the incumbent requires excellent follow through and must be able to sell concepts and changes in practices to the DS&A colleagues as well as gain their confidence and effective cooperationYour applicationBayer offers a wide variety of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
